About Becki

Becki Dennis is an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, director, and performing arts teacher. She received her B.A. in Musical Theatre from Point Park University's prestigious Conservatory of Performing Arts, and has since been working professionally in theatre, film, television, commercials, industrials, voice-overs, and print.

Her principal roles on-camera include a commercial for Millennium Training Institute, which is currently airing on the CW Network, a national commercial for Boys Town, which aired for over a year on Fox, and industrials for Reebok and the United States Department of Agriculture. She was also selected for the television pilot "Casting Call," an acting competition with judges Joe Piscopo, Morgan Fairchild, and Adrian Zmed. As a print model, she can be seen in advertisements for Progressive Insurance and Peter Pan Bus Lines. Additionally, her voice-over recordings include PBS's "Nova Science Now" and the audio dramas "Between Bars" and "The Slasher.".

Becki has been performing on stage her whole life, and has appeared in regional theatre productions across New England. Most recently, she was featured in "Experiment America," a joint collaboration between the American Repertory Theater, Huntington Theatre, and the ICA, as well as in the new musical "Le Cabaret Grimm" at the Boston Center for the Arts. She regularly acts in interactive theatre, having played a wide variety of characters in numerous comedy weddings, wakes, proms, and murder mysteries. She is also a singer for both Big Smile Entertainment and the Victorian Carollers, and is a founding member and choreographer for "The Stiletto Singers," a trio girl group that sings show tunes, standards, and pop songs.

As a choreographer and director, Ms. Dennis has staged over fifteen productions, many of them for Stoneham Theatre’s “the young company” and Andover High School. Most notably, her choreography of "A Chorus Line" was nominated for a North Shore Music Theatre Spotlight Award for "Best Choreography." She has also been the dance captain of several shows, including Ogunquit Playhouse's production of "Disney's High School Musical." Moreover, she has had extensive experience working with children of all ages as a theatre and dance teacher.

In addition to the training she received while a theatre major at Point Park Conservatory, Becki has studied at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, C.P. Casting, Maura Tighe Casting, Plymouth Rock Studios, Improv Asylum, and Broadway Dance Center. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, StageSource, the Massachusetts Production Coalition, and Women in Film and Video, and is represented for print work by Image Makers Models.

Becki's accomplishments in the entertainment industry can be attributed to her perseverance and versatility. She feels fortunate to be able to work in a field that she is passionate about, and is excited for the opportunities and projects that lie ahead.
